Invent Energy Wood Stoves
This morning on CTV's Canada AM I covered the Invent Energy wood stove, the newest technology in wood heat. If you have questions about the stove, please contact the inventor (charliep@csolve.net). The 1000 model (retails for about $960) heats 1000 square feet, the 2000 (about $1260) heats 2000 square feet. Have a warm winter!

We are interested in the fan that didn't require batteries or electricity that you showed with the wood burning stove. We can't find it anywhere on your web site.

Hi Mag,
I saw your spot on CTV about the wood stove and eco-fan and I was wondering where to find some information about the eco-fan? Barbara

Hi there,
I got my Eco Fan at Home Hardware for about $100. They come in 2 sizes - one moves 100 cubic feet per minute (that's the one I have) and the other moves 150 cubic feet, so it's good for larger spaces. I think the bigger one is about $150. It's a really cool technology. You have to place the fan directly on the hot surface of the wood stove. It won't work if placed, for example, on a shelf above the stove; the fan has to conduct the heat directly. Hope that helps.
