Wild Gardening

Dsc00031_1 A lawn is too big when it takes a day to cut it.  So we're exploring the art of transforming a lawn into a meadow.  The hard part was waiting for the dandelions to complete their cycle.  It looked bad.  It looked like we'd given up on our pride.  The neighbours thought we'd turned our place into a drug haven or lost all our money in cheese futures.

It's looking a little more intentional now.  Sort of.

We should be in this process right now ... only our solution will be cattle! Which have to be watched closely in case they make a break for my flowerbeds.
Your meadow looks great. I'm searching your site for the entry you made about the natural dandelion killer. So far I've found the name EcoSense Weed B Gon, but not the store where it can be purchased.
However it's always fun poking around your site, so off I go.
