Saw and Order

Irwin_japanese_saw Lee Valley is running an amazing deal on a very sweet Japanese saw - my favourite style of hand saw, which cuts on the pull stroke so it never kinks, binds, balks or buckles.  Built by the innovative folks at IRWIN, this lightweight saw is aggressive - it can cut through a 2x4 board in 7 strokes.  That' s less time than it takes to set up your circular saw.  Really great all-purpose saw for basic carpentry - regular $38.68, on sale for $14.50.

Saw your blog entry, ordered the saw. 'Tarrived plenty quick and I really like how it cuts. What a good saw !!! Looks like Lee Valley will be getting more of my money, since I'm lusting after the clamps, rasps, and maybe wood-carving chisels.

And I'm still waiting for a way to get copies of Mag's TV show on DVD ...
