The Best Week for Sunsets

P1010420The best week of the year is the seven days between Christmas and the New Year.  No business calls.  No checking e-mail 20 times a day.  You can spend whole afternoons just reading and thinking. Or stretched out beside the window, watching the shadows lengthen.

The best.

it's true! (about the relaxing part at least. i don't know about sunsets, because while i'm on break from the school i work at, i'm still usually at work at the bookstore when the sun sets. but yes. it is prime book reading time right now. and ironically enough, i just finished rereading the story girl. because i'm butch.)

And I agree with Cubbie right now I have a whole month off from school and this weekend I will be going to Kentucky. Its gonna be a exciting week. I love it being away far far away from home and vacationing with friends. A time of relaxation and hopefully see some wonderful sunsets while im there.
