That would explain where my lawnmower wouldnt start last time.. its cause of all the old gunk grass that was underneath it.. man totally sucks to have that under there dont ya think? its good to hear your voice Mag.. thanks for posting,

I had no idea what "lawnmower cheese" was! I half expected you to come up with a new recipe in the kitchen, not gunk under the deck of the mower! Good name for that icky gunk.

Down in the states, after mowing the lawn, we spray water from a hose under the deck and the blade wicks it up and cleans out the underside of the mower.
Now being in Canada, the hose way not have made it there yet. Wiki English has a listing for the technology for those not familiar with it.
For those of you without running water, a puddle works pretty well too.
