Cheap, Fast Wood-Fired Earth Oven | Slice Pizza Blog

via slice.seriouseats.com

This link focuses obsessively on wood-fired pizza (not that there's anything wrong with that), but if you look at the photos you can see the steps the builder took to make a sweet outdoor wood-fired oven for under $200!

You might get a kick out of this bakery's home made oven.

That is so gorgeous. Way higher on the aesthetic scale.

They're a real nice young couple that are living their dream. The bought forested land on a grade with a stream in it on the cheap. It was no good for farming or development.

They live a simple, but full life and the breads are to die for. They come to town twice a week and the breads sell out in minutes.

The breads are so beautiful and crusty-looking. I love that those two are living the homesteading dream while creating a smart, successful business. How inspiring.
