Tree Maintenance with a Cordless Pole Pruner (Chainsaw on a Stick)

We've been shooting segments for CTS TV's Real Life and here's the first - I'll update them weekly.  I was a little hysterical in this one because I really love my pole pruner.  And it kinda shows.

One of the easiest ways to perform DIY tree care is to use a quiet, lightweight cordless chainsaw mounted on the end of a pole.  WARNING:  If your neighbours see you using this tool they will come over and watch you silently for a whole day.  And after that they will borrow it every weekend.

Of Wood and Dinner

IMG_0220

Great conversation and laughs at dinner last night with the boys from The Woodworking Tools and Renovations Show at the best Mexican restaurant in Canada - Las Palapas in Saskatoon.  That's Ryan Shervill on the far left, then Gord Graff, me and Daniel, and Michael Kampen.  Truly great guys.  Next stop, Winnipeg.
