Love the 2x14(?) cutting board. Where do you get one of those?

Hi Erin B,
The lovely thick cutting board was a gift from a friend. He made it himself out of a big plank of maple. If you can find a big plank at a lumber yard, all you need to do is cut it to size and sand it. (Of course a purist would use a jointer and/or planes to make sure it's absolutely square and lies flat, but if you're not too fussy, just sanding a piece of wood will work for you.) And they make drop-dead-gorgeous Christmas presents. If none of that appeals to you, buy one from a maker like www.stinsonstudios.ca - people swear by 'em.
Hope that helps.
